Eco Village Plans
Tom Russell Architects won the competition to design an extension to the village of Lawrenny.
The decision might surprise some... the designs don't look so radical after all.

But Tom is keen to point out that the time has come to let go of the idea that eco = crazy design.
I know... controversial. After all, how would we get publicity for something that looks so.... normal?
Well, read between the lines. In fact read ALL the lines of Tom's report. We're being told there's so much more to sustainability than a great big sloping roof, a turbine and a turnip patch.
We love the discovery of shapes and aspects we never knew existed in this village. We love the avenue towards the church and realise how important it is in the landscape of Lawrenny.
Enough of all that though. Download the report here and see for yourselves. (PDF document 4.35MB)
